Flash Card Flipbook
This one requires some creativity, but the end result is absolutely worth it! Use those extra index or flash cards to make a Halloween flipbook. If you have a child, then this is a great way to keep them occupied while you work from home. If you are about friendly office competition, make it a competition! The team with the best story and flipbook wins first dibs at the snack station at the Halloween party.

- Decide on your story. Keep it simple because it can only be shown in images (we recommend stick figures for beginners).
- On each index card (preferably on the right side) draw the next image in the sequence until the story is told. Be sure to keep the cards in order.
- Clip them together with the binder clip
- Flip through and watch the fun!

Pushpin Pumpkins
Many people like to decorate their workstations with little pumpkins, but why not take it a step further? Since everyone will have the same small orange pumpkins, use your pushpins to create a shiny or colorful pumpkin!
What you need:

How to do it:
- Get a little pumpkin (real)
- Cover it with metal or colorful pushpins/thumbtacks
- Put it on display!
Ghost Chandeliers
Brighten up your office in the spookiest way: ghost lights! By using some Styrofoam cups from the breakroom and some Christmas lights, you can easily make a chandelier of ghosts to hang over your office door or around your cubicle. These are sure to get you extra points for the workstation decoration contest!
What you need:
- Styrofoam cups
- Christmas/String lights
- Permanent marker
- Tape
How to do it:
- Flip the cup over (bottom up)
- Draw two black ovals for eyes with the permanent maker
- Poke a small hole in the flat bottom of the cup
- Insert a string light
- Tape the light to the cup to secure it
- Hang and enjoy!
Who Done It?!
Give your office a murder mystery flare with an outline of a body as an easy DIY decoration.
What you need:
- Masking Tape
- A coworker to play dead
How to do it:
- Have your coworker lay on the ground
- Use the tape to make an outline around their body
- Coworker stands up
- The crime scene is made!
Full Moon With A Flying Bat
This one is a great craft for parents working from home, or as a decoration for your cubicle. With just a few simple supplies, you can transform some paper goods and a tongue depressor into a fun bat flying over a full moon. Kids will love that the mobility of this craft!
What you need:
- Paper plate
- Black paper
- Pencil
- Tongue depressor
- Yellow paint (optional)
- Wiggle eyes (optional)
- Glue
- Scissors
How to do it:
- If you want your moon to be yellow, paint the paper plate and the tongue depressor. Then, set them aside to dry.
- Use a pencil to trace a bat on black paper
- Use scissors to cut the bat out of the paper
- Glue the bat to the end of the tongue depressor
- Glue wiggle eyes onto the bat (optional)
- Poke a small hole with the scissor on the inside of the paper plate’s rim.
- Using the small hole as a starting point, cut inside the rim about 4-5 inches around the plate. (Note: You just want one inconspicuous cut so that can move without falling out of the “moon.”)
- Slide the tongue depressor into the cut
- Make your bat fly!
